Preparation for your Kung Fu Training


Any students who are healthy, physically and mentally, and who have an interest in learning Chinese shaolin kung fu, can enroll in our kung fu training school in China. Here, students can master the basics of kung fu and other martial arts, or even become advanced in all areas of training. After learning more about our Chinese training school and our kung fu training programs, all you have to do is fill out an application. After you submit your application online, our school reviews your application and contacts you.


If you're accepted, follow these preparation tips to ensure your transition to our school is as smooth as possible.

1.Before arrival


Before coming here, students must prepare by eating a good diet and taking road distance training at least 2km daily. It's also wise to do sit ups, stamina training, skipping, swimming, ping pongs and pushups. This makes it easy for new students to learn Shaolin kung fu and martial arts within the shortest time period. Exercises that rebuild and strengthen muscles help to improve performance and breathability.


2.Visa requirements Before coming to China

Students need to apply for a visa. Upon arrival, students can get help from the school to make an extension of the visa if they are still training at the school after five years. The school also helps students change the visa into a long-term stay visa when required. Obtaining a visa means working with a Chinese embassy. There are many Chinese embassies all over the world. 3.Climate in Zhengzhou, China:


Zhengzhou in central China territory comes with mild climatic conditions. Cases of freezing are limited and the spring season, which falls from March to May, has temperatures ranging from 10 to 25 degrees Celsius. The summer season that falls in July and August has temperatures ranging from 19 to 35 degrees Celsius. The autumn month falls in September to November where it is cool with degrees ranging from 10 to 28 degrees Celsius. The months of January and February is the winter season and has temperatures dropping to 7 degrees and below or above zero. Keep in mind that student rooms have heating.


4.Every student coming to the Shaolin kung fu training school must have include sporting items like loose clothing and other daily requirements. At the classes, masters give directions in simple English, but there are translation services available. Students who want to go out after classes can do so and translators can help them navigate different areas of China.


5.Insurance:


It is important to buy reputable medical insurance before traveling to china for kung fu training. This covers illnesses and injuries during training in China. Please check the insurance details given in your country.

6.Mode of travel:


Zhengzhou has no direct flights. This means students must fly to Beijing first or pass through Shanghai. While here, students can take a reconnecting flight to the Zhengzhou kung fu school. These domestic flights take 80 minutes and you can also book the local train to Zhengzhou. The distance between Zhengzhou and Shanghai takes 40 minutes on a plane and the training school is located 100 kilometers from the airport. The school, on special occasion, arranges for an all-terrain vehicle with translators and drivers to pick students up from the train station or airport and take them to the training school.

7.Paying Way:


iIt is ideal for students to pay in the local RMB or USD currency upon arrival. The fees can be paid through Western Union, bank transfers, or PayPal


8:Room and food


At the kung fu school, students get food made with Chinese recipes. This includes soybean milk, milk, porridge, and eggs and bread in the morning. During lunch and dinner, students eat Chinese meals like meat dishes, egg dishes, a single vegetable dish, rice and soup, and fried chips. The school also prepares local dumplings and noodles weekly. Seafood and bacon are also served throughout the week in Chinese style.

For students who want chilies, chefs make them available. On occasion, there are big feasts during festivals when students eat with masters in the dining rooms. Vegetarian students will also have something to smile about.

Note: We offer meals for Vegetarians.

. Generally, there are two people per room, but in autumn/fall and winter, there will be one person per room when fewer students are at the school. In summertime, short-term students may be required to share two or three beds in one room.


Facilities:

The kung fu training school has excellent facilities that include power training tools like wooden dummies, mats, punch bags, and gloves. The school also provides bodyguards.
Upon arrival, long-term students get a monk training suit. All students get bedding and tableware, hot shower facilities, and washing machines. For grooming and health, students must provide their own care; however, translators make this fairly easy.
Students can also enjoy high-speed internet and pay phones to communicate outside to friends and family.
